The Armoury Model 3 Brown Loro Piana Wool Sport Coat (NOS)
The Armoury's Model 3 sport coat features an unpadded shoulder and enlarged sleevehead giving the garment an exceptional range of motion. We've also widened the shoulders a touch and lowered the buttoning point and lapel notches to give the jacket a more timeless feel. Loro Piana's Pecora Nera series has been a favorite of ours since we first handled it a few years back. The fabric is left undyed, and the distinctive colors come from natural variations in a special breed of sheep that carry ancient dark gene variants (modern sheep have light wool that is easier to dye). The result is a natural, durable and exceptionally soft fabric, ideal for the warmer months.
